She grew up with a silver spoon in her mouth, but as a teenager began to reject the life that her parents laid out for her. So when she had to choose between going with the love of her life and marrying the man that would “provide her stability”, Maya naturally chose the former. Though, it ended not long after her decision and Maya went off to Wisconsin for school. Now recently reunited with her loved ones in Hawaii in times of heartache and sorrow, she hasn’t given up on her dream of becoming a neurosurgeon. She’s known for being indecisive and a bit of a know-it-all, but over all, has a kind persona.
